The components for this exceptional spirit have lived a remarkable and complex life. The oldest parcel is believed to date back to 1953, while the majority of the blend was distilled between 1970 and 1972 from heritage varieties including Doradillo, Pedro Ximénez, Palomino and Sultana.
Its deep mahogany colour signals the profound richness within. The nose opens with evocative aromas of decades-old tawny, Persian dates, marmalade and mineral stone, before unfolding into notes of aged cricket bat timber, rocky road chocolate, rose water, beeswax, dried orange peel and sandalwood.
